So if you don't eat wings or have a friend who doesn't, I have a delicious plant-version replica for you! Actually, as I am not a chef--but a nutritionist, this recipe comes to you from MeatlessMonday.com! haha But it is tested and deemed delicious by yours truly AND my meat-eating husband! In case you're wondering, these are meatless chicken wings made with cauliflower instead! Here's the recipe as WE used it but you can find the exact recipe HERE!
~5 cups of cauliflower florets
4 tbsp melted butter (organic, grass-fed)
5 tbsp Franks Buffalo Hot Sauce
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Himalayan salt and black pepper, to taste
2 cups Panko's Bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 375 F
Melt and stir in all ingredients except the cauliflower and breadcrumbs. Pour breadcrumbs into a bowl for dipping. Cut your cauliflower to the sizes you want, similar to a buffalo wing size. Dip the Cauliflower Wing into the liquid mixture and then roll in the breadcrumbs. Place all your wings on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy/golden.
This is a great option for those looking to indulge without going overboard! Enjoy!
