Vegan Sunburgers

Have you ever tried to give up sugar or meat and thought "man! I could really use a burger right about now!" Well, don't worry cause I've got you covered with this SUPER easy recipe. All you need is a few ingredients and a food processor and you're set! No mess, and it doesn't take long to make either!

Vegan Sunburgers

Recipe:

1 cup raw sunflower seeds

1cup raw pumpkin seeds 

1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil

1 cup carrot, grated (I just tossed mine into the food processor in 1-2 inch chunks)

1/4 tsp salt

1tsp italian herbs (I used thyme and oregano)

1/2 tsp fresh garlic

3 tbsp olive oil (I used the oil from the sun-dried tomato jar "zero-waste, right?!" 

8 large leaves of romaine or butter lettuce to use as a wrap

 

toss every ingredient into the food processor and pulse until it becomes a thick, gritty, substance. Roll (with clean hands) into patties and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes!
